Regarding many projects we carry out they require a new roof and our carpenters are qualified in hand cut roof or truss roofs which is ever designed for that project. When the new timber roofs are installed they are covered with new felt and baton and the covered with new concrete or clay tiles to complete and in some cases the tiles may be of a slate design. Should the roof be flat which all ways happens with loft conversions the flat roof is covered with three layers of high performance torch on felt. When retiling a existing roof should the roof change from slate to concrete tiles the existing roof will have additional supports to take the additional load. When the tiles are fitted new lead flashings are installed where the tiles touch the walls or chimney stacks and pointed in with cement to complete.
